Jas has worked on all types of criminal offences from murder to impaired driving and driving while prohibited. He has extensive experience dealing with Motor Vehicle Act offences including Immediate Roadside Prohibitions (IRPs) and Administrative Driving Prohibitions (ADPs), successfully defending traffic tickets for all individuals including professional truck and taxi drivers.

He has also successfully defended claims of civil forfeiture under the Civil Forfeiture Act.

Jas is committed to community outreach and development and volunteers for various organizations in his free time. He has helped establish a community police office with the Vancouver Police Department that directly addressed issues such as bullying, alcoholism, domestic violence and gang violence through community engagement and dialogue. He also volunteered at the Correctional Service of Canada, helping offenders reintegrate back into society.
